Ashala Foppe-Morris- Principal
My journey in education began in 2001 in Garland ISD where I taught Reading and Theatre Arts. I later joined Dallas ISD as a 4th grade Math/Science teacher and Team Leader. In addition, I have served in the roles of Counselor and Assistant Principal in Plano ISD.
I currently hold a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Southern University - Baton Rouge, a Masters degree in School Counseling from Prairie View University and a certification in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M Commerce.
I believe that every child should come to school daily and know that there will be someone there that believes in them and is ready to celebrate their successes!
Cajun Country (Louisiana) is where I am originally from, but I have called Texas my home since 2001. I’ve been blessed with an amazing husband, Danny, and two wonderful kids: Austyn and Aspen. We all enjoy cheering on the New Orleans Saints!!
I am thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with and serve the Bush staff, students and community! We are going to do A-M-A-Z-I-N-G things this school year, stay tuned....!!!
Graham Branson- Assistant Principal
I am so excited to continue my journey as Assistant Principal at George W. Bush Elementary. I love the culture that we’re building at Bush. Building relationships with the students and staff is one of my biggest goals this year. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade in Plano ISD and Wylie ISD. I graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2009 with a degree in Childhood Learning and Development. I earned my Master of Educational Administration from Concordia University.
My wife and I have two children, Lucy and Maxwell. I love hanging out with my family in my free time. We enjoy traveling to new places and we’re always looking for recommendations for places to visit! I am a huge Detroit Lions fan. I look forward to meeting all of our families here at Bush.

Emily Koder- Assistant Principal and Campus Behavior Coordinator
Hi Eagle family! My name is Emily Koder and I am so excited to see what this year has in store for us! I began my career in Garland ISD and worked there for seven years teaching kinder, first, and fourth grade. During that time, my family moved to Wylie and fell in love. I quickly moved into Wylie ISD and have been here ever since! I have taught third and fourth grade in Wylie before becoming an assistant principal. We are all things Wylie!
I attended the University of North Texas for my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. I later attended Lamar University for my Masters Of Education in Educational Administration. I have my ESL, GT, EC-4, and principal certifications.
My husband and I have three precious children who all attend Wylie ISD schools. When we’re not at school, we love to travel the U.S. and spend as much time outside as possible. I am a passionate reader who also loves to garden. I am a tried and true Texan and am very proud to be one.
I am so excited to see what our Bush Eagles accomplish this year. I love to see all of our students find their strengths, fall in love with learning, and become the best version of themselves. My goal is that all of our students feel loved, valued, wanted, and respected. I can’t wait to partner with you this year as we make this dream come true!
